Would you like to help me test knit my new sweater?

Hello friends,

I'm so excited to invite you to join the test knit for my upcoming "Drop in Dream" sweater! This pattern is designed to be beginner-friendly while offering enough challenge to keep you engaged.

My project: "Drop in Dream" in Drops Nepal yarn

My project 2: in Drops Air yarn

Key details:

  • Test knit deadline: September 23, 2024 (with flexibility for larger sizes).

  • Yarn: Aran weight (gauge: 16 sts x 22 rows per 10 cm).

  • Construction: Top-down, seamless, with a basic drop-shoulder design.

  • Special technique: Shaped shoulders using German Short Rows (video provided).

For all the details, head over to Ravelry, a free platform that’s a haven for knitters and crocheters. (I’ll share tips on making the most of Ravelry in the next Esenote!)

Ready to join?

Once you’re ready to start, simply leave a comment on Ravelry, and I’ll send you the PDF pattern link.

We’ll also have a chat group on Ravelry to stay connected throughout the test knit.

My project 3: also in Drops Nepal yarn

New to test knitting? Here’s what to expect:

  • I’ll provide the “Drop in Dream” sweater PDF pattern, and you’ll knit it step-by-step, just like any other project.

  • The difference? You’ll have the chance to ask questions, clarify any parts of the pattern, and offer feedback or suggestions in our Ravelry group. It’s a fantastic way to learn new skills and connect with fellow knitters.

I know that committing to a test knit might feel like a big step, but I’m here to support you every stitch of the way. Your participation and feedback will be invaluable!

See you on Ravelry? 🙂

Warm regards,
Julia Piro
